Serves: 4
Ingredients:
2 chicken breasts
1.5 cups of barbeque sauce
1/2 cup of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup of brown sugar
Street taco tortillas
1 bag of shredded cabbage
1 avocado
2 limes
Instructions:
In a small mixing bowl, combine barbeque sauce, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar.
In a lined slow cooker, place chicken breasts and cover them with the barbeque sauce mixture.
Set on high heat for 2-3 hours.
Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred with forks.
Place the shredded chicken back in the slow cooker and stir together with the remaining sauce.
Allow to stay on low or warm 15 minutes or until chicken is completely cooked.
To Serve:
On a serving plate, lay out 3 street taco tortillas and place a small amount of cabbage in the center. Place a small helping of barbeque chicken on top and add diced avocado. Serve with half of a lime that can be squeezed on top for extra zip. ENJOY your slow cooker barbeque chicken and cabbage tacos!
