1 16oz package of pasta of your choice
1 cup Mozzarella cheese
2 cups Parmesan cheese
French bread or make my The Best Homemade Garlic Bread You Have Ever Had
8 oz of melted butter
You can buy your own traditional spaghetti sauce or you can make one with the following:
12 oz of tomato paste
28oz can of fire roasted organic tomatoes
Basil, oregano, and garlic salt to taste
You can make your own meatballs or you can buy:
1 26oz package of frozen Italian or Angus beef meatballs.
You can use ground turkey, beef or sausage instead of meatballs.
In a large pot bring approximately 10 cups of water to a boil. There needs to be enough water to double the amount of pasta added.
Once the water is boiling, add pasta and cook according to package instructions.
(If your spaghetti sauce is not complete before your pasta is finished boiling, you can rinse your pasta to prevent sticking but avoid this if possible.)
If you purchased your pasta sauce already complete, you can simply add it to the cooked pasta once it is finished boiling.
If you opted to make your own, simply add the tomato paste and the fire roasted tomatoes to a blender and combine to the desired consistency. Add basil, oregano, and garlic salt to taste.
If you purchased your meatballs frozen, thaw them to package instructions.
If you want ground meat, add the desired amount to a large skillet and brown.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Slice desired amount of bread on a diagonal.
Paint melted butter on both sides of the slices of bread, and place the bread on a lined cookie sheet. I prefer parchment paper.
Slightly sprinkle garlic salt on the tops of all slices.
Top with the desired amount of parmesan or mozzarella cheese.
Bake until the cheese starts to bubble. Generally around 10 minutes.
Place a scoop of pasta in the bottom of a serving bowl. Top with your desired amount of pasta sauce and meat of choice. Add garlic bread on the side and enjoy your Homemade Spaghetti And Meatballs With Garlic Bread!
