homemade roast beef french dip sandwich

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

1 fresh baked loaf of bread from the bakery. Or make my Easiest Bread In The World

1 Au Jus gravy mix packet

8 tablespoons of butter

Garlic salt

12 oz thin sliced roast beef

1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup of grated parmesan cheese

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Divide roast beef into four equal portions and lay flat on a baking sheet making four flat piles. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese. put in oven for 15 minutes or until cheese melts, bubbles and starts to brown on the edges.

Cut your fresh loaf of bread into 8 equal slices.

Cover each side of every slice of bread with melted butter. Add garlic salt to only one side of the bread before placing it in the oven for 15 minutes or until slightly toasted.

In a small saucepan, cook Au Jus gravy mix to package instructions.

Serve:

Place a toasted bread slice garlic salt down on a serving plate. With a spatula, remove a roast beef with cheese stack and place it on the bread slice. Add the second bread slice on top, garlic side up. Slice the sandwich on a diagonal.

In a small bown add 1/2 cup of Au Jus gravy. Place the bowl on the plate along side the sandwich. Enjoy!
