10 Taco size flour tortillas
1 lb of steak or chicken or both
1 red pepper
slices of red onion
1 fajita seasonings mix
6 tablespoons of butter
shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
Thinly sliced cabbage
In a large skillet melt 4 tablespoons of butter and add protein of choice.
Wait for your chicken or steak to brown on one side then flip it over continuously covering it with the melted butter.
Once it has browned on both sides, remove it from the skillet and cut thinly across the grain.
Add it back into the hot skillet with an additional 2 tablespoons of butter, sliced onion, sliced red pepper, and fajita seasonings.
Traditional fajitas: place your tortilla on a serving plate, add your fajita meat and vegetables, top with desired toppings. fold one end towards the center and roll into a burrito.
Fajita salad bowl: lay a bed of cabbage and top with chopped fajita meat and veggies. Add any additional toppings. Enjoy!
